The grand Ayatollah Montazeri passed away and left the Green Movement to fight the tyrany of the Iranian rulers. He left a wealth of directives on theological and philosophical issues though to lead the Shiat Muslems to follow. He will be remembered as an advocate of human rights and the one voice of authority who stood to Khomeini's chilling order to massacre thousands of political prisoners in 1988.
